How to use LED lights to achieve that futuristic home visuals.
I don’t know if you’re up to speed on the latest technological developments – as far as LEDs go, but let me tell you dear reader… nowadays a lot of cool stuff is possible by taking advantage of the potential offered by LED lights. Since they are relatively inexpensive, highly customizable and colorful, and spend little energy, LEDS are food for anything you can imagine decoration-wise, from Christmas lights to full-fledged led signs. In fact, you can even use LEDs as pixels and use them to make a gigantic screen. Of course, getting millions of leds will be very expensive, but it’s all a matter of finding a good balance between investment and purpose.
A friend of mine is using LEDs in his home remodeling, and I should say I’m very impressed with the result. He set up 6 dotted lines along the bottom of the walls, and he hooked it all up to his main computer. He can now easily configure and control not only the brightness and color of each LED, but besides that he can even program the system to produce some amazing visual patterns. I have a feeling this kind of decoration will indeed become more popular in years to come!
