The internet is a strange tool if you think about it. In no other time in human history was there a tool that contributed to wild musings and apparently seemingly connections. Well, I’m not sure if this is something that everyone can relate with, but I’m the kind of guy who has a serious tendency to roam aimlessly to the strangest webpages out there on the vast cyberspace wilderness.
This is particularly true when I’m browsing the wikipedia, where fascinated clicks tend to follow one another even as one’s perception of time swiftly fades. But as far as I can tell, the same effect applies in just about every website. I mean, just a moment ago I was looking for lyrics for a beatles song (yellow submarine in case you’re wondering), and as soon as I came to, and hour had fled by and I found myself in deep contemplation of some nice bathroom vanities . How about that?
And I’m not even planning to buy new fixtures. Well, at least I wasn’t… but come on, some of those vanities sure look amazing. I almost feel like redecorating my bathroom, but I should be mindful of my expenses, in these dire times and all. Oh boy, if only I was rich…
