Stupid college kids should always know a good lawyer.

Life is funny that way. Just a few moments ago I was chatting with one of my college buddies from the west coast, and we were going over all the misadventures we used to get into every once in a while. I don’t really feel like going into much detail here, but suffice it to say that we had to call a Los Angeles Criminal Lawyer… more than once. In fact, after a while we got pretty friendly with some lawyers in the area since we oftentimes called them for … uhm, let’s call it legal advice. Nothing serious of course: it’s just that sometimes following the law isn’t that simple.

Well, but I digress. Truth of the matter is that for college kids, indulging a little misdemeanor here and there is of course a part of college life. I’m not talking about stealing or anything like that, mind you… well not unless there’s some kind of prank involved, of course! But you know how it goes with college and pranks, right? Sometimes it’s all in the name of good fun, but occasionally things have a way of getting out of hand. Well, in such occasions it’s good knowing a good lawyer, just in case! Well, at least I think so.

MyblogLog and the American Residential Law Group.

I was just browsing the MyBlogLog (that’s one of the best blog catalogs out there, in case you don’t know), and I found an entry for the American Residential Law Group. Since I know this is a recommendable group, I decided I’d make a post about it. There are just too many people out there that might benefit from getting Residential Law Support in America, and I feel as though making this small tribute may somehow end up being useful for somebody… so there you go! Also, make sure to look around MyBlogLog if you haven’t already; it’s one of the best ways I know of finding new and hipster blogs.

There are countless hordes of blogs out there on the vast cyberspace landscapes, that’s for granted. But when you find something you approve, you ( as a blogger ) should definitely pass word about it, wouldn’t you agree? That’s why blogging was invented in the first place, well at least if you ask me. I’m sure glad to know there’s even a entry for the American Residential Law Group, it just goes for showing there’s still useful and relevant information out there, right? Well, that’s the kind of address I enjoy keeping handy in my favorites, because it may be useful eventually… you never know, right?

The most bizarre accident involving a wiimote and window shutters.

Ok, so today something really embarrassing happened to me. I’m not sure I’m completely ready to divulge all the details, but suffice it to say that I was playing with my wii and I ended up having to buy some new Window Shutters. And no, it wasn’t the wii command that broke the window shutter. It broke the window, and it was I who broke the shutter myself while trying to fix the shutter. On the bright side, it’s really a good thing that I live on the first floor, otherwise I would probably have gotten seriously hurt during the whole ordeal.

I’m just the kind of guy who give whole new levels of meaning to the word “clumsy”. Applied to me, this word ceases to be an adjective and becomes a substantive. But all in all, I guess I’m actually quite lucky because I rarely get hurt even though I keep getting involved in all sorts of accidents. People keep telling me that I should be more careful, but what do they know? It’s not like I’m purposefully clumsy… it’s just something that comes naturally. Well, but I guess I should put my mind off this issue. I’ll now go play in my ps3, since it’s less likely the controller will end up flying through the room. I hope.

It’s official, I’m about to become a four-eyed nerd!

I just came back from the optometrist, and it’s official: I’m about to become a nerd with glasses. After so many years of bragging over my perfect sight, I suppose that all those hours sitting in front of computer screens finally took the tool on my eyesight. Well, at least I only need some corrective eyeglasses, so I won’t have to wear them all the time… just when I’m sitting in front of a screen. That’s actually pretty good, since I’m just too clumsy to be able to wear glasses all the time.

I would probably end up breaking them all the time and getting a new pair every week. Although, that wouldn’t be that troublesome since I’ve found this website that sells prescription glasses from $8… at those prices, I really could afford to buy a new pair every week, if it came to that. Also, I did make some research on this company to make sure it’s legit, and it turns out they have been positively reviewed by influential sources (check out this article, for example). I’m sort of annoyed I have to wear glasses, but at least I won’t have to spend a lot of money on them. Maybe my sight will get better after a few months…. I hope so!

Maternity clothes, and the joys of being a godfather.

I always remember the words of wisdom I have once heard, concerning the flow of time: hours drag on slowly, but years go by in a blur! Sometimes I can hardly believe I’m already a grown up. And you know what? As scary as it may sound, I’m going to be a godfather! And I plan on being a top-class godfather at that, so I’m about to start by buying some maternity clothes for my sister. How is that for planning ahead? Well, I’m just so happy because she just announced I am going to godfather my newest nephew! Pretty cool, eh?

Also, since I know for a fact that many women tend to become self-conscious of their body during their pregnancy… well, I guess that will help. And you know how women are… they love getting new clothes, and they love anticipating a childbirth in every possible way. And it’s pretty natural as well, since having a child is one of the highlights of adult life! One of these days I’ll want to experience the joys of fatherhood myself, and this invitation is a good stepping stone for getting started with learning how to take care of babies. Oh man, I’m really happy with these news.

Music, booze, friends and trends – that’s how we roll!

Those are three things I’m dearly fond of: music, friends and discounts. It’s not to common to see them all at once in the same place, but all the while it feels quite refreshing. And if you’re confused regarding what I’m talking about, just check out this MusiciansFriend.com Coupon I was just mailed!

Of course, you’re free to use the coupon as well, and if you’re a music friend you definitely should. That’s unless you don’t like saving up while getting the best deals on the best music, of course… but if you’re reading my blog you must be a smart person, so I doubt you won’t be able to take advantage of this offer. You know, when it comes to having fun – there’s nothing quite like music. In fact, listening to good music gets even more enjoyable when you’re around some of your good friends.

But I don’t need to tell you that, do I? Not unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past 20 years at least. But enought with the idle chat, wouldn’t you agree? Just call over some of your friends and get a hold of your favorite records and get yourself a party! And if you want to invite me, I’ll be happy to join you, of course!

Telephone call? I say it’s about time you go VoIP!

Heads up, dear reader! If you’re the kind of person who’s still paying telephone bills… you really need to catch up. There are now business VOIP alternatives (and also personal VOIP, of course) that will endow you with the magic gift of distance conversation at almost negligible price. I think it’s amazing how many people still haven’t realized the advent of VoIP is steadily making telephone landlines grow obsolete.

In case you don’t know, it stands for “Voice over Internet Protocol”, and in layman’s terms it’s a way of making actual telephone calls over the Internet. It’s pretty much the same thing as regular telephone calls except it costs a fraction of the price! If you’re still paying telephone bills, you really should look into getting a VoIP alternative.

If you’re looking for the best Voice over IP provider in the UK, you may want to check out SynergyOne to get some impartial advice as well as learning which solution is more appropriate to your needs. This is a recommendable company because they offer a solid and on-going customer service, and they will help you develop a scalable system that meets all your requirements.

It’s a brand new age, music lovers! MP3 says so.

So, what kind of music do you like best? You know, sometimes I cannot help but feeling amazed with the fast progress of music-related technology. To think that in my youth, back in the eighties, I was still a devout of mix tapes! And just a few years later I was blown away with the advent of music CDs, and just over the turn of the century the real music revolution came about: digital music formats, namely the wildly popular MP3. I still remember when I listened to my first MP3, I was maybe 17 years old and I was utterly blown away. I knew it was the beginning of something special.

And it goes without saying… it was indeed the beginning of something special. Kids these days don’t have a clue of how lucky they are, to get access to free mp3 search and download at the click of a button. Back in the day, finding new music wasn’t always an easy task! Fortunately things have gotten much simpler… even though in a way it takes from the whole romanticism. Getting a new album was a special event, when I was young. Nowadays, well… it’s pretty common, to the point that sometimes people don’t even bother listening to new music. But I guess it’s better this way, right?
