Home is more than just a brick cage… it’s something no one can steal!

Home is where I place my hat, home is where my feelings are at. Even though I like to follow this kind of reasoning, and perceive my habitation as my own heart and mind rather than a brick cubicle… let’s face it: there’s no place like home! It may be just an old shack, but home is that special sanctuary when each of us finds retreat from the cold harsh world. The problem is that sometimes the cold harsh world does find way to break in one’s house. That’s why it’s often a good idea to recruit efficient apartment building insurance. You might suppose this is another one of my mysterious rants… but I’ll lay it out simply so you understand where I’m coming from.

I was expecting for a friend to come and visit me from San Diego, and I received a call from him early this morning – saying that he wasn’t coming after all. He was already in the airport when a neighbor called him. His house had been robbed. Can you believe that? I never had to deal with such a thing personally, and right now I feel hopeless being being unable to help my friend. I’ve been looking up some home insurance in san diego as well as a good health insurance quote san diego… that’s pretty much everything I could think of. He sounded really upset over the whole home burglary thing; and I can’t blame him, even though that’s just the reason why I try to get too attached to my belongings.

Lacking room? Maybe you should think about folding!

I wish I lived in a bigger house. I really hate spending much time in cramped spaces, and right now this place is getting a little crowded with all the machines and furniture and assorted paraphernalia. There’s really not much I can do right now, to the effect of getting a bigger space, but today a thought occurred to me that might just be the next best thing: folding furniture! Sure, I can’t expand the available space, but I CAN do something to make sure the available space is well employed – and right now I can’t think of a better way of doing so than buying some folding chairs and folding tables! It may not sound like such a brilliant idea, but when you got almost no space to move around (yeah this is really small apartment), a little extra room can make a world of difference.

The great thing about this kind of furniture is that it’s usually not much expensive; on the other hand it tends to be somewhat brittle, or at least that’s what I used to think. I found this online vendor with a really diverse catalog, and I was quite happy to realize that some of those models look really sturdy! It was no trouble at all finding a good set of table + folding chairs for a reasonable price, and that will hopefully do the trick, concerning my lack of room. Still, I was thinking that an ingenious designer could really come up with an amazing set of folding furniture, that could be arranged in different combinations – as to balance the amount of free space with the amount of working space. Sounds like a plan, doesn’t it? If someone finds something like that in their own cyberspace excursions, I’ll very much appreciate if you let me know about it, via comments!
